A. According to the web site below, cats must be vaccinated within sixty days before departure, against feline panleukopenia and rabies. This link explains exactly which documents are required for your cat to enter Ecuador. I don't know whereabouts in Canada you are, but this link has contact details for the Ecuador Embassy and Consulates, who will be able to confirm exactly what the current requirements are. Pet transportation regulations vary. Some airlines will allow them to travel in the cabin, whilst other only transport pets as cargo in the hold. This link has contact details for all the airlines, so that you can check that information. All airlines insist that pets are treated for parasites and ticks 24-48 hours prior to… [cont.]

Is it possible to buy buffalo mozzarella FRESH in North America?
Q. I went to two local Italian delis today and they only had sealed buffalo mozzarella from Campania that is packaged up for long-term storage and sale. The expiry date is one year from the packaging date. I used to live in Italy so I'm totally hooked on fresh buffalo mozzarella, and I don't like the idea of it being packed up for a year. Have you ever seen REALLY fresh buffalo mozzarella in North America? Does anyone know if buffalo mozzarella is produced anywhere in North America? As a side question, is there such a thing as bison or ox cheese? I've seen yak cheese that was made by Tibetan monks, but I don't recall ever seeing a North American buffalo, bison or ox cheese. To reach an "Italian district" I would have to travel 500+… [cont.]

Why is there such a poor selection of potato chips (crisps) available in North America compared to the UK?
Q. The UK must be the potato chip capital of the world! Every combination of flavour and texture is available. And the best that's available in North America? Lays. Boring, artificial tasting with a limited range of flavours. However, if you've never been outside of North America you wouldn't know what you're missing.

How much do referees in Europe and North America get paid?
Q. Anyone living in Europe or North America, if you can give me an overview of how much referees get paid and if you are a ref yourself how long it took you to get paid good money? Thanks.
Asked by Football the life, 18 years old - Mon May 17 02:18:04 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Depends on the level games you are working. For example when you first start out doing youth games you may make around $20.00 or so per game. The upside is that the games are often short and you can do several in one day. When I work adult mens, womens or high school games the pay is around $50-$60 per match. Again, sometimes multiple matches are available within one day. On a good weekend you could possibly pick up four or more games and maybe a stray game or two during the week. The pay for working in say MLS varies due to several factors. AR's in MLS and FIFA will make near $300.00 per game. The referee will make more than $400.00 per game or possibly more depending on his rating. These fees can also increase during playoff and cup… [cont.]

A. The electric power -- the numbers you are concerned with when it come to appliances somewhere else in the world is what we are concerned with here. In Argentina, they use power like in Europe. 220 volt at 50 Hz. I don't know about their wall plugs. In Brazil, they use power like in America, 120 volt at 60 Hz. So, your web camera could be a problem if it plugs into the wall. Check the label on the power converter 'brick' if the cam plugs into the wall, besides just the computer. Some web cams only plug into USB plug on the computer. Many modern electronic appliances convert the Electric Power coming from the wall so the appliance has the proper amount of volts. Same goes for your computer. The computer has a power converter built in.… [cont.]

A. I'm a former Flight Attendant who used to work these routes and I also lived in Hong Kong for about a year and a half. These flights tend to be very long and mostly 747's are used. I found them to be more calm as far as turbulence was concerned, although that isn't entirely predictable. You can still get bumpiness. What I liked about flying in Asia, as opposed to other markets was that the atmosphere was very calm. The meal service, for example tended to be very short. It went a lot faster than the transatlantics that I had done previously and they drank a lot less alcohol. There were fewer special requests and problems with their food. The passengers were also more used to flying. We had fewer tourists and more families and business… [cont.]

You have no intelligence on how much of a burden they really are. 1)They do not pay taxes, they mooch off our system and receive free health care. 2)They send U.S money back to Mexico, weakening our economy, because it takes away purchasing power, money from businesses and legal citizens 3)They have children, and leech off social programs and do not pay back into the system through taxes. 4)There are millions of them here illegally and they DO commit crimes and even if deported they come back. They are a burden, a HUGE burden. Overall danger, they weaken our economy, steal jobs, mooch off our social system and cause too many problems. *Edit* It seems people… [cont.]
